Location

Hera Hotel is located right under the foot of the sacred rock of the Acropolis, and it is directly connected to the nearby archeological sites of the capital, to the New Acropolis Museum but the spectacular Parthenon as well.

The guests of our hotel have full access to the public transport system (train – tram – metro – taxi stations) and can easily get to the destination of their choice.

1. By Metro / Underground
You will board the Metro from the Airport’s Station and get off at Syntagma Station. At Syntagma Station you switch lines in the direction of Ag. Dimitrios and get off at the first Station, the "Acropolis Station". From Acropolis Station the Hotel is 100m away, walking along Makrigianni/ Falirou Street.

The approximate time from the Athens International Airport to the Hotel is 40 minutes.

2. Taxi
The approximate time from the Airport to the Hotel is 50 minutes and the fare including all charges between 5 AM till midnight is approximately Euro 35,00. From midnight till 5AM the fare including all charges is approximately Euro 50,00.
According to the Greek Legislation, taxi drivers should provide, upon request, a receipt for the amount paid for transportation services. The receipt should also indicate the taxi’s registration number and the driver’s full name.

3. Bus X95 to Syntagma and then Metro line 2 direction Aghios Dimitrios and get off at Akropoli station.

From the Port of Piraeus

1. By Metro/ Underground
You will board the Metro from Piraeus Station and get off at the Omonia Station. At Omonia Station you switch lines in the direction of Ag. Dimitrios and get off after at Acropolis station. From the Acropolis station the Hotel is 50m away, walking along Makrigianni /Falirou streert

The approximate time from Piraeus to the Hotel is 20 minutes.

2. By Taxi
The approximate time from Piraeus to the Hotel is 15 minutes and the fare including all charges between the hours 5AM till midnight is approximately Euro 10,00. From midnight till 5AM the fare including all charges is approximately Euro 20,00.
